The following are the most common remedies used to get rid of nail fungus:

1. Put warm water and vinegar and in a basin, Then, soak the toenails in the solution for 20 minutes. Dry the toes thoroughly with a dry towel or an absorbent paper towel. The process is best done twice a day until the symptoms disappear. Ordinary vinegar can be used, but natural apple cider vinegar is proven to be more effective.
2. The tea tree oil is known for its many medicinal properties. Different studies have proven that tea tree oil acts as fungicide and antiseptic.  To use it for nail fungus, simply rub the tea tree oil using a cotton ball to the affected nails. This can be done two times a day, ideally in the morning and before going to bed until the fungus is gone.
3. Listerine (mouthwash) is commonly used as an antiseptic to treat nail fungus. To eradicate the fungus, soak the affected nails in Listerine for 20 minutes two times a day.

A natural remedy for nail fungus.
Tea tree oil is now getting more and more popular because of its different properties beneficial to health. It now also considered a potent fungicide and a natural antiseptic. The use of tea tree oil is one of the best known nail fungus remedies.  Simply mix pure tea tree oil with a little olive oil and apply to the affected toe nails. It is recommended to put a few drops of tea tree oil to the nails and rub them thoroughly every day.  Tea tree oil can also be mixed with lavender oil. Blend an equal amount and then use a cotton ball and dab under the top edges of the nails including the surrounding area. Lavender can help fight infection and prevent irritation.

Another effective way to treat nail fungus is to use natural apple cider vinegar.  Put warm water and apple cider vinegar in a basin. The amount of the apple cider vinegar and water should have equal proportion. Soak the toe nails for 15 to 20 minutes, and then dry thoroughly using a hair dryer.  Use the warm setting of the dryer and ne sure not to leave any moisture.
